as long as we are obsessed with beauty there will always be models!! youre right to say that modelling doesnt do much for the world!! but if you take youre time to look around at some of the worlds big models you will see that they are trying to make the world a better place, tyra banks for example has a charity where she helps teen girls with bullying and self esteem issues, the supermodel iman is the global face of the keep a child alive organisation which works to give life saving drugs to country devastated by the aids epidemic!! i know that there is a lot or controversy in the modelloing world, but you cannot just generalise models when there are really a lot of them out there who use their celebrity status to make a difference in our world!!How to models benefit the world?
I think its ok to admire beauty. There is art in fashion. I love art in all forms. Its a way to express culture and society.





In addition some models use their fame to promote things like animal rights. So they are definitely adding to the betterment of their enviorment. Probably more than most people.





I know what you mean though. But, too often people think models pressure young girls to be a certain way. Think of the models. They have WAY more pressure to look a certain way. Their jobs depend on it. They don't create those ideas of conformity its actually the media.
hm, well, they help prevent obesity...
Models are there to show off new clothes...I don't think they look sexy if they have bones sticking out the arm holes, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.


There seems to be a movement,,can I mention Dr. Phil and Oprah(they do have some good shows)...who want America to be thin..diet diet and more exercise....


There are people who want to buy the latest so called fashion and if they like them and can afford them...those are the people who go to these fashion shows..


When you feel comfortable with your body, that's when you feel and become a real sexy woman!


Thin does not mean healthy...Some places thin is considered anemic


Tyra on the other hand tells females to love their bodies they have.
it doesnt benifit the world at all. we would be perfectly fine if there was no models in the world. we wouldnt die or ne thing. and its not good cuz there are models dieing cuz they are getting told that they are to fatt
