What type of hair would benefit the most from being washed with mayonaise?

Corn Row.What type of hair would benefit the most from being washed with mayonaise?
Please, do not use mayonnaise in your hair. There are conditioners in the marketplace that will help your hair far more than a condiment.

Talk to your hair stylist...you could even go to a store like Ulta, or Aveda and ask what would be best for your hair type, depending on the results you are looking for. What type of hair would benefit the most from being washed with mayonaise?
Mayo is an old-time conditioner. I used to mix mayo and eggs together -- I also used to wash my hair in beer. They were just fads.

And yes, the high oil content in mayo is supposed to be for dry, course hair.
Dry or course hair. You don't want to use it on fine hair, because it is too greasy, and will weigh it down, and make it look oily.
For beautiful hair, do what the Spanish ladies do. Rub Olive oil into your hair and leave for 20 mins, then wash it out.
I would imagine that if you had Watercress for hair,it would work a treat.
pubic
Lettuce hair
thick, dry, course hair
tuna hair is good......mmmmmmm tuna and mayo!!!

What is your favorite product by benefit cosmetics?

i have the danelion face stuff which i love. i was wondering if anyone has tried benetint, eyecon, big magic lip gloss, lipscription, or dear john. i want to know what you think of the products and if they actually workWhat is your favorite product by benefit cosmetics?
I love their Boi-ing concealor (Medium was a perfect match for me) and the consistency is really nice. I have Dandelion also as well as Georgia (just like Dandelion but peach instead of pink). I think those blushes are really good if your are on a budget because they pack a lot into those little boxes. I also have the You Rebel tinted moisturizer and I would recommend AGAINST it simply because it isn't very impressive. I have tried the Benetint and I was not impressive. Since it has that nail polish-like brush, you can't apply it as well as with a different kind of applicator. I use LORAC's sheer wash for the same purpose and it has a roller-ball tip and works a lot better :) HTHWhat is your favorite product by benefit cosmetics?
I love BrowZing for eyebrows. I have tried Dear John. It was fine for a moisterizer, nothing incredibly special though about it.
they all are good

Hi. Do all make-up base prevent the skin from absorbing make-up and does it really benefit your skin?

Make-up QuestionHi. Do all make-up base prevent the skin from absorbing make-up and does it really benefit your skin?
Hi there

make up base or primers are becomming increasingly popular as they are orignially used by make-up artists and people want the 'flawless' look they see the celebrities with.

Primers are great for:

- making a smooth canvas for your makeup to adher to

- smooth out imperfections (dry skin, pigmentation etc)

- make you makeup last way way longer

- water-resistent properties

gerneally they wont stop make up from being absorbed. But makeup is never absorbed into your skin. What happens is the oil our skin naturally produces absorbes the makeup and creates a oil-makeup mixture which your pores can get blocked with.

To stop this from happening always cleanse tone moisturise before applying your makeup and you will be fine :).

But primers are great inventions i highly rate napoleon perdis 'auto-pilot'

hope this helps :)

It is a good foundation but i would prefer foundation from Proactive. I read that The foundation they have actually helps stop pimples and clears your skin fast.

What is the core benefit of using toiletries and cosmetics that have natural ingredients?

its not as bad for your skin as artificial ingredients

    x

Why do Benefit eyeshadows and blushers tend to break and crumble when there is 50% left?

it is either the way you are using them (being too hard on the product) or htey way they are manufactured.

As long as they still work after they break, it's not a big deal.

Does anyone think it unfair that if you have a private pension you can't benefit from it till you retire?

I recently received a statement giving my pension value and thought at the time I could do with some of the money now. I'm not due to retire for at least another fifteen years and will probably be either too old or unfit to do things I can't afford to do now. Anyone agree.Does anyone think it unfair that if you have a private pension you can't benefit from it till you retire?
The whole idea of paying into a pension fund is so that you WILL have a pension to retire on. If you spend the money now, you'll live to regret it. I know somebody who was always moaning about having to pay into his companies' pension fund, but boy, was he laughing when he retired and saw how little the ordinary Old Age pension was !Does anyone think it unfair that if you have a private pension you can't benefit from it till you retire?
the idea of a pension is so you have an income when you retire
Following changes in Government rules last year, you can take your personal pension benefits anytime from age 50. You can also now take SERPS benefits - the old contracting out benefits as well.

You can take 25% of the value of the fund as a tax free cash sum and the rest will be used to purchase an annuity.

However, if you take your pension at age 50, it will drastically reduce the amount you would get at age 65.

If you are really wanting the money, talk to an Independent Financial Adviser.
You could take your money out any time, but you wont have it when you need it. Expenses go up when you get old. Trust me you will need it.

I have long hair and i was just wondering if any products would benefit my hair?

my hair is around the bottom of my ribs so its pretty long. its also a medium thickness.

would using a some kind of product like an occasional treatment of something be good for my hair. its not in bad condition or anything...i mean i dont dye it, but i straighten it or curl it quite a bit.

i am very fussy and protective of my hair and really try to take care of it. does anyone use a product that they think would be good for me just for some extra care.

thanks :)I have long hair and i was just wondering if any products would benefit my hair?
It is always good to use an intensive conditioner every so often. I like Charles Worthington Mineral Hair Spa. You leave it in your hair for 3 to 4 minutes, after shampoo, before washing out.

  • Is it cheaper to order Benefit make-up online?

I live in England, and I really want to buy a load of Benefit make up - is it cheaper to go to a UK store like Debenhams, OR order it off the US site and have it shipped? I always hear people saying the prices are cheaper there anyway...Is it cheaper to order Benefit make-up online?
There is a UK benefit cosmetics site. I live in Manchester and use it all the time. BUT, a handy tip from working in a department store, about once a month, one of the main stores will do a 10% off day, so if you are buying a lot do it then. Otherwise, open a boots advantage card and earn your points. There are almost always points offers on benefit and most of the time it adds up so you could buy a lipstick or something with the points you have. The UK site is

    www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk

or you can buy it from boots online, debenhams online etc.

The problem with ordering it from overseas is that the exchange rate isnt as good as it was because of the recession, and they often dump a handling charge AS WELL as customs on to you which can actually end up costing you more. If you need any help with choices to buy I can help. I have worked on a counter next to benefit, have quite a bit of make up experience and my friend is a benebabe lol

At the mo at boots you get a free lipgloss with two or more benefit purchases

xoxoIs it cheaper to order Benefit make-up online?
It depends on the exchange rate at the time of course, but generally the prices of the actual product aren't much different between the US and UK. Not to mention, you'd have to pay international shipping charges on top, which would most likely negate any savings. Really, you can look this up yourself though using a currency converter and checking the shipping charges on the Benefit website.

Benefit do have a UK website, but the prices on there are the same as what you'd pay at Debenham's, Boots etc, and again you'd have to pay shipping. The advantage to buying from a department store is that they usually have a points programme in place (eg. Beauty Club), which makes it cheaper in the long run to buy from the same store.
It will be more expensive in the USA, if they ship to you. Why? Well say something you like in the UK is 拢19.50.. and in the usa its like $28 then you add shipping (I'll round it to $40 - which is like 拢25? idk maybe more) so its obviously more expensive. You could just order off ebay. I suggest you go to debenhams and try stuff out before hand though.

Cheap match for Benefit Benetint Lip Balm?

Hi! I just have one question? What is a good, pretty much exact match for the Benetint Lip Balm? I love the color, but i want to see if there's a cheaper version or similar shade to it before I fork out the twenty or twenty plus dollars USD to pay for it. I don't have a problem with spending that much for a great product, but like most everybody i like to comparison shop before I buy usually in order to get a great product at a cheap or cheaper price. That being said, I will NOT buy makeup or any other cosmetic item from Ebay or swap for them because it is potentially unsanitary, so bear that in mind when and if you answer my question. Thanks a million and Blessings to all!Cheap match for Benefit Benetint Lip Balm?
Try using cherry Chapstick. It adds a subtle red tint for under a $1.

I'm a member of makeupalley.com %26amp; according to the reviews BeneTint balm isn't worth the money. One member even posted the idea of making your own by mixing some of your favorite red lip color w/ petroleum jelly.

BTW, my favorite your lips but better glosses are Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Cherries in the Glow %26amp; Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey.

How does vitamin e and GNC ultra nourish hair benefit me healthwise?

HEY!!! I found out that if you have acne (I do) and you put the vitamin E oil on your face, it will go away in a week. I REALLY works...and I'm glad, too, cuz my Bat Mitzvahs in 5 days.

Do all ULTA stores carry benefit cosmetics?

No. This is with many cosmetic stores and departments regardless of brand. Some Ulta stores might not carry the Benefit line. They may have had one (or not) at one time, and it might not have been popular at that location. The best thing to do is to call ahead of time. But honestly, you're best bet is to shop online. I wouldn't shop on ebay or anything like that, but you can still get brand names at discount prices on certain sites. It just takes a bit of research.

Not all sephora's do either ( I used to work there.)Do all ULTA stores carry benefit cosmetics?
they just started carrying them and dont carry all the products in each store or even on their website. But you can check benefit.com for some great deals, especially on their closeout items. also free stuff on a 35 dollar purchase.Do all ULTA stores carry benefit cosmetics?
Actually they do. If they don't in the store, they do carry the whole line of Benefit Cosmetics on Ulta.com.

    Hope I helped. :)
no, but you should try ulta.com they have a lot of promotions, discounts coupons and free samples.
No, they do not . Sephora does though (:

  • What do you think of BeneFit's Some Kind-a Gorgeous?

Is it good? Should I buy it?

Thanks for your answers. What do you think of BeneFit's Some Kind-a Gorgeous?
    hmmm im mixed on this.

i love benefit cosmetics im a huuuuuuuge fan, and yes i do have some kind-a-gorgeous...

it is good, its lovely smelling and ever so soft on the skin, does what it says dries like powder etc... however it can be a bit thick and clogs up a bit and can make the skin look dry - thats what its like on mine anyway, so i tend not to use it as much, its a lot of money to waste if it doesnt suit you.

i would get a tester, or ask at the benefit counter if they would do you a makeup trial where u try it on etc... see what its like for your skin, and it comes in different colours too so make sure u get the right one! hope that helps xoxoWhat do you think of BeneFit's Some Kind-a Gorgeous?
I agree -- the counter girls at Benefit are always helpful. You could get a sample to try for a few days to find out if you really want to buy the full product. Overall I've been really pleased with all of my Benefit products. And, they are so much fun!

Benefit She Laq for running eyeliner? I have raccoon eyes at the end of the day and need some help!?

Hi there, everytime i use eyeliner it runs and makes me have raccoon eyes! No matter what eyeliner i use, it always happens. I use mac fluidline and i love it, i also have bobbi brown gel liner and it says it's supossed to be smudge proof but in the end i still have raccoon eyes. I heard that she laq is good for running eyeliner but i'm not sure if i should invest the $28 unless it's really worth it. Can anybody tell me if they liked it or what else is great for running eyeliner? Any tips/advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!Benefit She Laq for running eyeliner? I have raccoon eyes at the end of the day and need some help!?
I use the She-laq in my kit and adore it. I use it on all brides and on any scene where I know there will be water or a lot of action (ie sweating) so that the makeup doesn't need to be touched up on the eyes. I use it to seal the liner AND the shadow. I don't brush it on with the brush that comes with it. I like to use a sponge tip applicator (like what you get in eyeshadow compacts) and dampen the applicator to PAT it over top of the finished eye look. Stays all day with no smudging, running, or smearing. I like it because it has multiple uses. I also use it as an eyebrow sealer when applied to a clean mascara wand and if you blot it over lipliner it keeps the lipliner from creeping. You can also lighly sponge it over cheeks to keep your blush in place for special occasions (dont' recommend that for everyday use but I do it on brides in case their tears run)Benefit She Laq for running eyeliner? I have raccoon eyes at the end of the day and need some help!?
you should try line and seal water proof eyeliner.

    it always works for me.

it may not work for you, but most of my friends that use it tell me that it works really well.
i love love love she laq i use it all the time. it makes all brands of makeup waterproof sweatprof and smudgeproof i know its a little pricey but trust ne its well worth it u can use it everyday. yes i wud definetly get it
I've used it, and it does prevent it from running and smudging, the only thing is, when you first put it on, it feels really weird, and I didn't like it too much. But it does help, because my eyeliner didn't smudge or anything.

Also, try Stila Smudge Pot, it's gel eyeliner, and I thought it was better than bobbi brown, and mac fluidline. It lasted all day, and didn't run at all with me. I put eyeliner all around my eyes too, so I don't use just a little bit haha.

If you want to give She Laq a test drive, you should put on your makeup in the morning, head over to your nearest Sephora or Benefit counter, and put on the tester She Laq.

Then at the end of the day look at your eyeliner, and see if it's worth it. Or if your eyeliner smudged.

    Hope this helps!
    try a waterproof one.

How to get flawless skin? (Benefit Cosmetics?)?

I take good care of my skin, and it is usually quite clear, but I always have pinkness on my nose and my eyelids. I use MAC foundation in NW15, but it rubs off during the day, even if I wear powder over it.

I've been looking into trying out Benefit cosmetics, because recently a drugstore near me got some of their products.

I really just want to know how to get even, glowy skin...any tips?

Brand names/product names would help greatly. How to get flawless skin? (Benefit Cosmetics?)?
This is a way to get glowing skin no matter what brands you use. Apply a moisturizer after cleansing your skin so your skin is moist and fresh. Apply a primer to your skin-primers help keep your foundation in place and make it last all day. Apply your foundation next-I would recommend a sheer foundation/tinted moisturizer because they provide a more sheer coverage that helps your skin show through so you don't look too made up and fake looking. Take a concealer and a precision brush (one with long, pointed bristles) and dab it onto any blemishes, and then apply the concealer with your finger onto any red areas, making sure to blend well. Lightly dust on a translucent powder to set your foundation and to absorb any excess oil on your face. Apply a bright blush to the apples of your cheeks with a large fluffy brush, and apply a bronzer onto the areas where the sun would naturally kiss your face (top of forehead, tops of cheekbones, bridge of nose and chin). Take a loose shimmery powder (preferably white or pale pink or gold) and apply some to the tops of your cheekbones, browbone and inside corner of your eyes to waken up your skin and make it glow. Do your eye makeup and lips anyway you want but your skin will look great no matter what! This is what I do everyday, and here are the products I use and where you can buy them:

Primer: Laura Geller Primer (Sephora) or Rimmel Primer (available at drug stores)

Foundation: Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture (available at salons-www.dermalogica.com) or Cover Girl Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer (available at drug stores or mass retailers)

Concealer: Sebastian Trucco Natural Concealer (available at salons)

Powder: GloMinerals Oil Absorbing Finishing Powder (available at salons) or Laura Geller Baked Mosaic Powder (available at Sephora)

Blush: Laura Geller Baked Blush Mosaic (available at Sephora)

Bronzer: L'oreal Mineral Wear Bronzing Powder (available at drug stores or mass retailers)How to get flawless skin? (Benefit Cosmetics?)?
Even glowy skin is a breeze with Bobbi Brown's Luminous Moisture Foundation. MAC's foundation has a vegetable oil base that doesn't mesh well with skin, may irritate and doesn't have the staying power more prestigious foundations have. Bobbi's foundations naturally have a hint more yellow (don't worry, not a jaundiced yellow) but the yellow counteracts the redness in your skin and evens out the most blotchy of skin tones.

For the glow Invest in a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in bronze. It's a cheekbone highlighter as well as a shadow that can play up even the most gorgeously, even skin around!

    Enjoy!

Can pills that benefit skin fade scars?

Well I have quite a few scars on my legs (they have actually faded really well since I got them 2 years ago), and I also have hyper-pigmentation/discolorations on my face. I'm wondering if supplements that benefit skin (like Vitamin C, Fish Oil, ect.) can also internally help fade/heal scars and discolorations? Can pills that benefit skin fade scars?
You don't need to take pills. There are lotions (Bio Oil, etc) that help improve the appearance of scars. Vitamin E is very essential for fading scars. Even just breaking a gel tablet of vitamin E oil and spreading it on wherever you have scars will help.

What is the benefit of cosmetic surgery?

if it's a vanity issue, in the long run not much. it only holds for so long before the skin stretches and you get to do it again. if it's a need then by all means do it. it will help you face the world with a new attitude.

i have no idea but thanks for the points c-ya laterWhat is the benefit of cosmetic surgery?
For a lot of people it is their own vanity. They think that if I do a little nip here and a tuck here I will feel better about myself. The biggest benefit I see with cosmetic surgery is how it can transform some people with severe deformities into a fairly normal looking person.

  • What is hair weaving? How does it feel? Has anyone done it and is there any benefit?

What are the minuses? What is hair weaving? How does it feel? Has anyone done it and is there any benefit?
hair weaving is either cornrowing hair and sewing weave into the head or gluing tracts into the hair....cornrowing hair can feel tight and it increases blood flow to the scalp making the hair grow but when you take it out or if you keep it in tooo long it can break the hair.....gluing can break the hair get stuck in the hair when you try to take them out the benifit is that you will have the illusion of long hair the negative is that you can really damage your hair if you dont know what or how to take care of them or take them outWhat is hair weaving? How does it feel? Has anyone done it and is there any benefit?
Hair weaving is adding of additional hair to your own hair to make it longer, fuller etc. There are many types of hair weaves. The braid weave is when your natural hair is cornrowed flat to your head and then the extentions that are on a weft *a section of hair sewn together to make a flat hair piece* are sewn into the cornrows. This feels great but depending on how many wefts or tracks you add, it can feel heavy. The benefit of this style is it is great if you dont want to damage your hair with hair dye or have long hair and want a short do, or short hair and want a long do.

Another kind of braid weave are interlocks. Basically, the real hair is braided like in a sew weave, but the additional hair is added using a crochet hook. This feels much like a sew weave, but u have more styling freedom.

The other kind of braid weaves are individual or cornrow braids, which I have in now. It is when loose hair is braided into your natural hair. This feels great after you get over the headache and butt aches depending on how long u had to sit. My micros took 28 hrs but I spend 3 hrs in the shop every weekend getting my hair done, now I don't have to worry about it for 3 months or so.

Another kind of weave is a bond/or fusion weave. That is when the extentions are glued into the hair.
hair weaving, as in adding fake hair into your own? well i have it in now(which i've done myesef)and it's actually human hair ..there are differnt types of hair weaving you can braid, do micros and a whole different assortment of things with it! it doesn't really feel anydifferent except it's just longer than your own, i think the benefits 4 mine is it makes myhair look longer and you can keep it in for a longer period of time( i have micros with fake hair and i can keep mine in for up to 4 months, but u have to do sum braids over so it will still ook nice), well minuses i guess when u do it is that who ever does it it might hurt if they braid really tight but if you have a problem with that just tell them, but i think that it's better when it's tight it makes it look better and last longer, even though it migh hurt for a bit. and another minus is when u do it some of the hair u use might get on the floor and get kinda annoying, it always happens to me, well i hope i have been sum kind of help..!

Are you more likely to buy clothing that benefit charities?

Im just curious, if you were to buy a one of a kind handmade peice, would you be more compelled to buy it becuase it donates to a charity?

I want to know becuase I am trying to do this now. I have one item up so far, and people are looking, but no one is buying. Is the price to high?(go to the link below)

susiemarie.etsy.comAre you more likely to buy clothing that benefit charities?
i don't like it, but if something that i like, and fits well, goes to a good cause, then why not? i don't go looking for stuff that goes to charity, though. Are you more likely to buy clothing that benefit charities?
No, I shop a lot, but not from what your talkin about. I donate it instead when Im done with it. Sometimes i dont even where it.
I do buy things that are made for donations to charity. I know that every year Saks does Tee shirts by famous designers for Breast Cancer and I go out of my way to get one, as most of the money goes to Charity. I also know I have bought things on ebay and paid a little more because they were listed as being up for a charity.
I might be a little more compelled to buy it. The price might be a little high, but it's cute!
i give my old, used clothings instead of buying

Do you think Osama bin Laden would benefit from an Extreme Makeover?

He's still alive and kicking? What a shame...Do you think Osama bin Laden would benefit from an Extreme Makeover?
    omfg fooo shooooo!

that made me LOL FOOO REALLLLDo you think Osama bin Laden would benefit from an Extreme Makeover?
The only makeover he needs is to be dead.
ahah umm maybe but i thin hes a little to much of an angry person (if hes still alive) ahah i think his uglyness would still show... lol
    ahaha, oh yeah.
    oh, dear.
yes but he doesn't deserve one. the only thing that should be changed about him is the fact that he's still alive (if he is)
who cares and no i don't think he would!!!
    yeah
I don't think that man can benefit from anything last i heard he was dead dummy!

Benefit's Benetint lip balm, does it really make your lips look rosy?

For Christmas I got a $25 gift card from Macy*s and I want to buy the Benetint lip balm. I love rosy lips, and I don't want to be using lipstick and rubbing it off and off anymore. So I want to buy it, does it really make your lips look rosy?

I'm 14 by the way, I don't wear make up I just curl my eyelashes.Benefit's Benetint lip balm, does it really make your lips look rosy?
YES! I absolutely LOVE this lip balm (the one that comes in the little jar)! The color is great, it doesn't feel sticky at all and, as a bonus, it has SPF. I love the look of a rosy lip, cheek and just a little mascara or curled lashes. By the way, it is refreshing to hear of a 14 year old who actually does not want to cake on the makeup! I promise, your skin will thank you later :)Benefit's Benetint lip balm, does it really make your lips look rosy?
yes and yuo can use it on your cheeks too in a pinch. Its very natural and you can make it darker by reapplying a bunch of times. I wish more people knew about it.
You can get lip gloss for a dollar at www.EyesLipsFace.com ^^
  • hair straightener
  • Apart from the obvious, what do hair straighteners actually do? Would I benefit from using them?

?? do they add volume, texture, layers??

My hairs about 4 1/2 inches long, and i am looking at how i get a more layered textured look, would they work for me?

Thank youApart from the obvious, what do hair straighteners actually do? Would I benefit from using them?
Straighteners don't add layers unless you cut your hair into layers. It gives volume if you straighten from middle length to ends, and avoiding the roots, straightening OUTWARDS. Pantene Enhanced Layers give you some more noticable layers, TRESemme volumizing shampoo and conditioner gives it a boost and volume:

    http://www.tresemme.com/volume/products/…

Hair straighteners also makes your hair silky smooth and straight, if you get good quality ones, that has ceramic coating, such as Remington or GHD's. I have Remington's myself and it contains Avocado oil, which keeps my hair sleek and straight all day long.Apart from the obvious, what do hair straighteners actually do? Would I benefit from using them?
Hair straighteners just straighten your hair and heats it up, so when you drag it in the horizontal direction then it stays that way.

To protect your hair from getting burnt on the outside and drying out, I suggest you use hair straightening tonics.

Go to a hair dresser for a more layered and textured look.

They will surely tell you how to manage it from there.
straighteners straighten. they don't give you layers, that comes from the cut and for texture try a gel or wax or texturizing spray

What is your favourite BeneFit product?

    I really like benefit!..just got their foundation-playsticks!

Just wondering whats your favourite product from them?...is there any self confessed lovers of the brand!?haha! What is your favourite BeneFit product?
I love BeneFit as well, they make a ton of great products. I own quite a bit but two of my favourite products that I cannot live without are their Hoola bronzer and High Beam illuminating liquid. What is your favourite BeneFit product?
I adore Benefit cosmetics. I can't do without Shelaq (sp) and I also swear by the ';Honey Snap Out of It'; facial scrub. BTW, the Shelaq keeps my brows in place. I have very thin brows so I color them in somewhat. I then put the Shelaq over them and they last all day and even overnight if I crash w/o washing my face (which I almost never do).
I have loads of their stuff! Haha atm I have get bent mascara, 10 Highlighter/Bronzer, Hollywood Glo, Ooh La Lift, Concealer, Lemon Aid and some other stuff haha

I'd say my favourite is probably the 10..but ooh I really wanna try the new Posietint!!
I love BeneFit products in particular i LOVE their hoola bronzer but they have so many great products like ther bad gal mascara and eye liner and dandeloin blush!! I could go on for hours :)

What is the benefit of using department store skin care?

there isn't. They are loaded with chemicals and toxins and only keep the problem going. Try some natural products like Dr. hauschka or origins is the only dept. store that has some organic products. Go to skindeep.com and check out the risk involved in the dept. store brands. What is the benefit of using department store skin care?
no benefit there, usually causes rashes, lots of people are allergic.there is an alternative, for more info visit

What are the minimum hours you can work for Benefit Cosmetics per a week as a makeup advisor/consultant?

Whoa! I started my career with benefit when i was 17... eight years later... ha. :) hours depend on the store- each department store has different shifts. at macy's there are shifts that are 13, 20, 25, and 37 hours a week. if you don't have that much time, you could be a freelance makeup artist for benefit directly and just work for special events (usually once a month or so) and get paid a lot better.

you'll want to get in contact with benefit's AE (account executive) because she will ultimately decide if she wants you to work for them. What are the minimum hours you can work for Benefit Cosmetics per a week as a makeup advisor/consultant?
for as long as you see your self in mirror ugly trying to look beutiful could be a very long timeWhat are the minimum hours you can work for Benefit Cosmetics per a week as a makeup advisor/consultant?
    12 hours or more !
It may vary depending on the location, if its in a mall or the actual store. I suggest you call up and ask the manager.

  • How to models benefit the world?

is making young girls feel they should wear expensive clothes and look stick thin, positive?

how does that benefit the world? How to models benefit the world?
as long as we are obsessed with beauty there will always be models!! youre right to say that modelling doesnt do much for the world!! but if you take youre time to look around at some of the worlds big models you will see that they are trying to make the world a better place, tyra banks for example has a charity where she helps teen girls with bullying and self esteem issues, the supermodel iman is the global face of the keep a child alive organisation which works to give life saving drugs to country devastated by the aids epidemic!! i know that there is a lot or controversy in the modelloing world, but you cannot just generalise models when there are really a lot of them out there who use their celebrity status to make a difference in our world!!How to models benefit the world?
I think its ok to admire beauty. There is art in fashion. I love art in all forms. Its a way to express culture and society.

In addition some models use their fame to promote things like animal rights. So they are definitely adding to the betterment of their enviorment. Probably more than most people.

I know what you mean though. But, too often people think models pressure young girls to be a certain way. Think of the models. They have WAY more pressure to look a certain way. Their jobs depend on it. They don't create those ideas of conformity its actually the media.
hm, well, they help prevent obesity...
Models are there to show off new clothes...I don't think they look sexy if they have bones sticking out the arm holes, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

There seems to be a movement,,can I mention Dr. Phil and Oprah(they do have some good shows)...who want America to be thin..diet diet and more exercise....

There are people who want to buy the latest so called fashion and if they like them and can afford them...those are the people who go to these fashion shows..

When you feel comfortable with your body, that's when you feel and become a real sexy woman!

Thin does not mean healthy...Some places thin is considered anemic

Tyra on the other hand tells females to love their bodies they have.
it doesnt benifit the world at all. we would be perfectly fine if there was no models in the world. we wouldnt die or ne thing. and its not good cuz there are models dieing cuz they are getting told that they are to fatt

Diorshow mascara or bad gal by benefit?

I want to look like Im wearing falsies, but I don't want the attaching fibres, that just gives me length and not thickness.

What should I get?Diorshow mascara or bad gal by benefit?
If you don't want the fibers, then you should go with Diorshow. It'll make them BLACK BLACK, but won't give you any length. Only the brands that contain the fibers will give you additional length.Diorshow mascara or bad gal by benefit?
Do not buy Bad Gal Lash. I haven't tried Dior Show but I have tried Bad Gal Lash. It smudges like crazy and really doesn't add length and or volume. The only good thing it did for me was seperate my lashes. I would buy Diorshow.
Diorshow will make you look like that. I don't like the bad gal one, it clumps way too much.
Diorshow is definetly the best badgal is very clumpy and cheap feeling!
even though I'm a big benefit fan, and I'm getting bad gal, I'd say dior show. It'll give you a tad better of effect (probably)
    Diorshow %26lt;3
    diorshow, badgal is clumpy

Has anyone tried the Face illuminator called high beam, by Benefit cosmetics?

What did you think of it .?

Also, how do you apply it?

And, if I put it on over foundation %26amp; Spray tank %26amp; Blush, will my other makeup come off?

Thank youHas anyone tried the Face illuminator called high beam, by Benefit cosmetics?
I have it, I like it bcuz it makes ur face look more glowy and healthier.Ur supposed to put it right above or on ur cheakbones and u aplly it by using the little brush but only put three dots of it on each side and then just rub it in.It doesnt make ur other makeup come off, u should put it on over ur makeup so that u can see it.Im just running out and ive had mine for a little over a year.I also like to use it for my brow bone highlight.Benefit also has moonbeam which is basicaly the same thing but it has a different glow to it, kinda purpeley but it still looks naturall and really pretty.

  • What is the best way to use High Beam from Benefit?

I love love love this product! It's so easy to apply and is just the right amount of shimmer. Applied correctly it can give you a dewy finish without looking like a disco ball.

You can use it on your brow bone as a highlighter and it is amazing on the cheekbone as well. For an all over glow mix a tiny amount with liquid foundation or moisturizer for that luminous glow.

Does anyone know of a good drugstore-available susbstitute for Benefit's eye bright stick?

    Here is the Benefit version:

I would like something that is under $10 but the same idea - a pink highlighting pencil.Does anyone know of a good drugstore-available susbstitute for Benefit's eye bright stick?
I'm not sure if a light pink eye liner would work the same, but if you want that same fresh-faced awake look, dab some white eyeshadow or white eyeliner on the inner corners of the eye after your regular eye makeup routine and blend, blend, blend until it looks natural. Then, curl your lashes and finish with your favorite mascara.

It'll help sooo much, and white eyeliner costs about $3 maximum at the local drugstore. Any brand will do.

    Hope this helps ya out!!

xoDoes anyone know of a good drugstore-available susbstitute for Benefit's eye bright stick?
just bite the bullet and get the Eye Bright...it's well worth it!! It's an instant eye lift in a pencil...mine has lasted me for a long time too....
    Cvs?
Even though it isn't from a drug store, the Sephora brand of eye liner, shadow, lip liner, etc etc...have endless selections of color to choose from, so I'm sure you'd be able to find it. Otherwise, I've had luck with Longs and Rite Aid as well as Walgreens as far as make-up goes.
PAY THE EXTRA FEW $$$ AND STAY WITH BENEFIT'S BRIGHT STICK. I'VE TRIED MANY, DRUGSTORE, MAC, SO ON...
I've looked and haven't found anything like it in a drugstore. The keep getting my $14 (maybe more) every time I run out.

Bad Gal Benefit Mascara or Big Fatty by Urban Decay?

They're both about the same price. Which one should I get? I heard these two make it look as though you have falsies on, but which is generally better? Thanks!Bad Gal Benefit Mascara or Big Fatty by Urban Decay?
Definitely go with Benefit's Bad Gal Lash - it gives you thick, long lashes because there's microfibers in the formula that bond to your existing lashes.

You could also try (if you want super length) Fast Lash by Tweezerman - you coat the lashes with mascara, then add the Fast Lash, and then again coat with mascara. CRAZY long lashes!Bad Gal Benefit Mascara or Big Fatty by Urban Decay?
Bad Gal is awesome. I have curly eyelashes naturally but

they are thing and short. I wear badgal and it makes them

plump, long and awesome looking, like I am wearing fake

lashes! I have tried big fatty and it doesnt work for me..but if u get it, I hope it works!
Too Faced- Lash injection. Its better than the other two.
I use big fatty, I LOVE IT! Urban Decay is totally the way to go for eye makeup!

  • How would modeling benefit me?

My mom wants me to be a model. I am 14 years old. I am 5'4 and 105 lbs. I do not know if I want to be a model. How would modeling benefit me? Do you get paid? Please answer my questions and provide details! THANKS SO MUCH!:)How would modeling benefit me?
Don't do it if you don't want too! I personally think all models actors and such shoud wait until they are 18 to decide thats what I did I am just now pursueing acting and I am 17, 18 in 2 months! How would modeling benefit me?
Those things always end bad, you'll end up looking like a broken porcelin doll, baaaaaaad idea.
watch americas next top model. Thats where I am getting my answers.

You will not be a good model if you don't like it. You might be a natural but if you don't have any fire you won't be amazing. I don't think you are tall enough, sorry. 5'7'; is considered short in the modeling world. You get paid A LOT. But if you don't want to be a model then don't do it. Be what you want to be not what your mom wants you to be. Also, think about this. The most famous models aren't that pretty. They are weird looking. But that is why they are successful. Their awkwardness works. If you are just plain pretty then you won't go far. You will be stressed and pressured to be skinny. Models make it through because they have a lot of passion for it. Hey you might end up liking it though.

    =]]
if u dont want to than u dont u have to want to b a model to become one and chances of being one are like 1 in a million.
your a bit short (usually runway minimum height is 5'7)

but just do it you want to, not cuz what your mom says.

if you do really important shoots etc. you can paid tons, but if you take it really seriously and make it tour career it can really take a lot of energy out of you (3-5 hours of sleep )

    but overall, its YOUR choice
It wouldn't. You will constantly be pressured. Have you thought about school? What about when you get too old for modelling (around 25) or if nobody hires you? You won't have a high school or college diploma, and be stuck flipping burgers at McDonalds. Modelling can be tempting because it seems luxurious and glamourous, but it's not. Just be a normal teenager. Focus on school and have fun with your friends.
    If you are already 14 and only 5'4'; you won't be able to be signed by a major agency. Even for commercial modeling you need to be at least 5'7';
    yes you would get paid. it's fun and might boost your self esteem. however, please don't get into that industry. it will most likely DESTROY yourself esteem if you aren't ';perfect'; because people are so openly critical of you. however, i guess you won't need to worry about that because you have to be at least 5'8'; to model. and even that is short... you won't book much unless you are 5'9'; or taller and no runway for you unless you are 5'10';
You'd be famous global and yes you get paid but depending what you do.But I think your if you were 5'5 some agencies would like you more.Because height and weight is a big thing in modeling. :) good Luck!
depends in some cases they do get paid good money. i personally think its stressing but many people enjoy. you should try it this could be a great thing for you and you might end up enjoying it.

Do Black girls wear bronzer? What is the benefit of wearing bronzer?

I am an African American cocoa colored woman. I rarely wear makeup. I only wear mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. How would I benefit by wearing bronzer? I always thought that bronzer is to give the illusion of a tan. Why would a dark complexion woman need to wear bronzer? Does it enhance your appearance? Any info would be very helpful. Also since you're supposed to apply bronzer to cheek area are you supposed to also wear blush? If so which one is put on first? As you can see I have no idea about makeup. I have a very important dinner meeting for my job and want to look more sophisticated. Only 26 years old.Do Black girls wear bronzer? What is the benefit of wearing bronzer?
Bronzer is usually iridescent. It is designed not only to give your face a glow, but to reflect light, illuminating parts of your face. Although bronzers often have a bronze tint to help paler complexions look more tan, the real purpose is to illuminate your face. Because the bronzer illuminates parts of your face and draws attention to your bone structure, it can draw attention away from any blemishes you might have.

If I were you, I'd choose a liquid bronzer intended for your skin tone (L'Oreal TrueMatch makes good ones). Apply it with a damp makeup sponge to your forehead, cheeks, and chin.

I hope I helped!Do Black girls wear bronzer? What is the benefit of wearing bronzer?
I love bronzing powder. It highlights my skin and makes it shimmer as if kissed with gold and it looks so natural.Sometimes I just dust it on my skin , but I bought some Jergens lotion that has shimmery effects in it and use that for my body now. But yes black girls wear bronzer and I do believe you will like it. I am about the same color as you maybe a bit darker though......Try it you will like it
Bronzer is for all skin colors. Bronzer makes you look radiant! Put the bronzer on before the blush. Use a darker colored blush.
it also evens out your skin tone so yeah you can deffently wear bronzer
i do it gives me a great glow but take in mind i have a carmel skin color so i'm only speaking for myself

put the blush on first that what i do i'm sure you will like it it's just makes you light up

How would I go about getting a job on the make up counter (eg Benefit/Dior etc) at a department store ? UK?

What training would I need? How would I go about getting a job on the make up counter (eg Benefit/Dior etc) at a department store ? UK?
Just go in and ask on the counters in boots, house of fraser, debenhams etc. As someone mentioned above, you have to be excellent at applying making, comfortable applying makeup to other people, look immaculate (ie, perfect makeup, nice hair, clean) and most of all, you have to be confident and outgoing with a customer service/sales background.

You don't have to have had any previous training as the company will train you themselves. As long as you have customer service skills, can talk to people and know the basics of makeup, what blusher is used for, for example, and have an outgoing personality, then you should be fine!

I used to work for Benefit and loved it! Only left because being on my feet all day for long hours was not my cup of tea.

You can also visit www.esteelauder.jobs and apply from there. Estee Lauder own Clinique, Estee Lauder (of course!) MAC, Bobbie Brown, Origins etc.

Good luck!!How would I go about getting a job on the make up counter (eg Benefit/Dior etc) at a department store ? UK?
    they train you.

go and ask if they have any vacancies.

if you have done beathy therpay its a bonus and they will almost deifently hire you! you need to be very good, i mean excellent at doing your own makeup and other peoples.

    you have to be immaculate!

    good luck x

What do you think about Benefit (make-up brand) ?

What are your favourite products by Benefit ?What do you think about Benefit (make-up brand) ?
I love benefit. I'm currently wearing dr. feelgood, the new hello flawless! foundation and bad gal waterproof eyeliner.

the foundation is lovely, it has a nice powdery texture which is great for my oily skin, especially as I applied dr. feelgood before. The combination of these products seems to really keep the oil at bay, making sure my face and forhead don't look awfully shiny like it does with other foundations. the eyeliner is also great, it doesn't bleed and last for hours.

i also use lipscription, the buffing beads are great for getting rid of dead skin on your lips.

after being given a sample i want benetint now, it leaves your lips with a subtle red glow.

the only problem i have with benefit is a) the price, but searching on ebay is great, much cheaper. and b) the staff at the counters can be very pushy to try and give you a make-over, even if you just wanted some information. i know they work on commission but i don't want to be asked if i want a make-over everytime i walk past. What do you think about Benefit (make-up brand) ?
I love benefit, the packaging is so pretty and very clever! I love their 'fake it' foundation and also their 'bad gal' mascara is fantastic! Hoola bronzer is one of my favourites! Benefit is great but i must say it is a bit over priced!!
im a big fan of benetint. it gives a nice pink flush without looking like you just went for a 10km jog.

its definitely pricier than any drugstore brand but you definitely get what you pay for.
I love benefit boi-ing concealer. It's expensive, but its really good and lasts ages :)

What do you think of Benefit Cosmetics' ';HOOLA'; Bronzer?

It is the winner of this years ';Best of Sephora';. To any of you who tried it, is it good? I have been through a couple of bronzers which make me look orangy and fake. Does this bronzer look natural??What do you think of Benefit Cosmetics' ';HOOLA'; Bronzer?
I'm really not that crazy about it... it made my skin look dirty instead of sun-kissed. The Hoola powder doesn't contain very much shine, which is essential for creating the look of a glow.

HOWEVER- something you must know is that I have very naturally fair skin, so it is difficult for me (unless I happen to be tan at the time) to find bronzers that don't do this. If you are tanner, the Hoola will probably actually work well. I mean, after all, Sephora knows these things.

If you are naturally light, like me, though- I suggest you use something that is loose, goldish in color, and has some sheen. What do you think of Benefit Cosmetics' ';HOOLA'; Bronzer?
To be honest if you're white(pale skinned or even light olive) don't bother buying it! I know what the person is saying when they say it makes skin look dirty because the powder looks terrible on people who don't have very tanned/dark skin. It can make the skin look patchy, orange and dirty with just a few brush strokes.

My friend who is just a few shades lighter than me, couldn't stand the colour on her skin but it suited mine because I'm dark enough to stand the colour.

I really don't think this person has to have a surgical operation for her weight. I believe that working the inner and outer thighs with squats will help and other exercises as well.

if you have been smoking for a long time you would know .i don't smoke personialy but why don't you try to not smoke . some of the guys i hang out with don't like the smoking sceen. but if they do try being your self if that is what you want to do is smoke.Women only...How do I go about smoking a Virginia Slim 120 in a seductive manner for a guy's benefit?
I can't even begin to believe that you are doing such a thing to impress a guy!! Have you heard about the risks of smoking? I hope that this guy will be around to take care of you when you become sick with the tarred lungs. Seductive??? Stick it up your nose!!!Women only...How do I go about smoking a Virginia Slim 120 in a seductive manner for a guy's benefit?
Try to be yourself instead of trying to be something that your not. There is alot of guys don't like to be around people that smoke..
If it's going to take smoking a cancer-causing cigarette to ';do it'; for him?....he's not worth your time.
Why would you smoke for a guy's benefit? That's not cool, and harmful to your health. Don't change your habits for a man.
Don't smoke use a popsicle or a hot dog and suck on it. It would turn me on if I saw you doing it. Or you could suck on his slim jim
You don't. There's nothing seductive about yellow skin and teeth, smelling like an ash tray, and lung cancer.
I'm guessing this is an advertisement since she specified the brand... what does THAT matter?? It could be any brand of cigarette and it would be an immediate turn off for me.

Is BadGal from Benefit a good mascara?

Ive been thinking about getting some for a while now. the pictures of it look really good, but then, all pictures of mascara look good. companies are just trying to sell something to you. but is it a good mascara? Is BadGal from Benefit a good mascara?
Yes it's a good mascara. It definitely curls and volumizes, and it lengthens a little bit.

But there are other mascaras that compare with it-like Maybelline's volume colossal. Is BadGal from Benefit a good mascara?
I used to use BadGal makeup (mascara and eyeliner) but I really didn't like it, especially since it would sometimes smudge and run, and it wouldn't last as long as I would like, so I had to reapply often. I've also tried Urban Decay and Maybelline, but none have showed as good results as what I use now, which I've been using for the past couple years or so. I use the Artistry essentials mascara, which is absolutely bloody amazing! :D It's also not as expensive as some other brands and since it lasts pretty long, I don't run out so quickly. And the brush is very controlled.

Anyway, I usually buy directly from the website (pasted below) since it's cheaper than buying from stores, I believe.

    Hope that helps, mate! ^_^
I LOVE benefit makeup, but mascara is actually one place where you can save money. I think maybelline, cover girl, and revlon all make GREAT mascaras. another good thing about cheap mascara is you should throw it away every 3-4 months because you can get eye infections. save money on mascara but look at other BENEFIT products!!!
you should read reviews at makeupalley.com

that way you can get both the good and bad things people have to say about it.

How does the IPL Laser work to benefit the skin?

Intense Pulse Light... (IPL) stimulates new collagen to form in the skin thereby reducing fine lines, minimizing pore size and acne scars, and increasing skin elasticity, also diminishes flushing or redness of the face associated with Rosacea, reduces brown spots, erases broken capillaries, and smoothes roughly textured skin. There are also treatments you could do in your own house. Always avoid products that are formulated with mineral oil. This is derived from petroleum and is very harmful for your skin's health, in fact it is the second worse thing you could do to your skin. The first thing would be the sun. Also products formulated with animal products or by products are also damaging to your skin. Do not know if you are aware form where animal products come ... they come from plants called Rendering Plants (recycled animals) where they pick all dead animals and they put it inside a very huge pot and they boil it and all the oil that comes afloat is called animal oil and our skin does not absorb this type of oil. Always try to use natural products based on botanical principles.

I wish I had a chance to try all of the L'Oreal HIP products, we just don't seem to get them up in Canada. I have used Benefit's High Beam and can tell you that it's absolutely fantastic. I bought my first bottle like 3 years ago and it's been a staple in my collection ever since. What I like about is it that it isn't at all glittery, it glows. I love to mix a little bit in with my foundation to give an all over glow. If you do end up buying it, you won't regret it.Loreal HIP illuminating highlighter as good as benefit high beam?

Benefit playstick foundation yes or no?

I use Benefit's playstick foundation and I like it cause its fun to put on and its easy. For those who use this, is it better to apply with a brush or sponge or fingers? Ive been using the sponge and i seem to have to use more and more foundation to cover my blemishes. Also, do you like this product or would you recommend something else?Benefit playstick foundation yes or no?
I guess it really depends on the person, because

everyone has different strategies when it comes to

makeup. I use my fingers because I find it easier to

blend, and you won't have to use as much because

the sponge soaks most of the foundation into it.

Again it depends on the person but I would

    recommend it to someone.

Does microdermabrasion or facial peels benefit lines around the eye?

One of the most popular skin care treatments of the day is a procedure known as microdermabrasion. Often described as a facial sandblasting or facial vacuuming these two descriptions allude to the two processes used in the treatment, or rather the two functions of the microdermabrasion machine.

Firstly and primarily the machine creates a circular air flow that forces aluminum oxide crystals to be blasted upon the skin's surface and then such up all the residue. The result is the removal of the very top layer of skin which consists mainly of dead and dying skin cells.

Microdermabrasion is a professional non-invasive cosmetic procedure which carries few risks if performed correctly by suitably qualified personnel. Though the process is rather simple a complete understanding of the skin is necessary to gain the most benefits from the treatments. Although it can now be performed by almost anybody in the comfort of their own home using equipment that costs around $200 the best results are often gained in the salon, spa or clinic.

Although your face can sometimes seem slightly reddened immediately after a treatment it very quickly subsides leaving a fantastically healthy glow. Open pores will be noticeably reduced and rather than looking dull and lifeless your skin will look radiant with a pleasant sheen. Overall the look will be far more youthful than prior to the treatment and this will improve more with further treatments.

For many the most important benefit from microdermabrasion is the removal of comedones. These are the plugs in pores which are visible in blackheads and unseen in whiteheads. As these are part of the cause of acne by using microdermabrasion to condition the skin (which is free from active acne) so the new acne does not form, it is possible to bring outbreaks quickly under control and minimize the risk of new outbreaks.

Acne can destroy a persons life, a once happy outgoing child can become something of a recluse and highly susceptible to depression. The fact that treating the areas of skin without active acne with microdermabrasion it can become less prone to a fresh outbreak. By having the treatment regularly this can almost halt it completely. This incredible fact makes this benefit one of the most important.

There are many acne treatments available and, unfortunately, not all treatments work on all people. Microdermabrasion appears to work extremely well on virtually everyone who suffers from acne and it is, therefore becoming extremely popular as both a cure and a highly effective preventative treatment.

Many people find that after acne they are, sometimes, left with scarring. Luckily microdermabrasion can be very effective at removing (or vastly reducing the visibility of) acne scars. As well as removing acne scars it can also remove other skin blemishes and also have a profound effect upon freckles. However most people know of the treatment because of it's excellent reputation for being able to remove spider and fine lines together with fine wrinkles. It can also greatly reduce the visibility of deeper wrinkles.

The truth is that microdermabrasion has a great many benefits, so many in fact, that virtually anybody would benefit after only a few appointments at their local medical spa or clinic. Because it is so popular the cost of the treatment has restocked slightly in recent years, especially in areas of increased competition and now more than ever it is within the range of almost all budgets. If you have considered it too expensive in the past maybe it is time to take another look?

Today it is possible to have microdermabrasion in the comfort of your own home with many ';At Home Microdermabrasion Kits'; available at very reasonable prices.

How do you apply high beam by benefit?

ive bought this highlighter called high beam by benefit and im not sure how to use it. do u apply it under foundation or over it? and if u wear powder can it go over that too? or under it? How do you apply high beam by benefit?
You apply it over your foundation and try and avoid powder just in that area if possible so it holds better. Use a TINY bit. High beam is quite 'concentrated' and if you use too much, you can look really kiddy sparkly, or sometimes greasy... :(

Apply it on top of the cheek bone (smiling can help). And blend out. Apply in daylight. Trust me! You only need a TINY bit ! : )How do you apply high beam by benefit?
high beam is cool , i have it :) ok i use it over my cheekbones %26amp;under my eyebrows (the brow bone) . Its just a highlighter, and kind of gives you a shiny fresh look. After u apply your foundation ,just dab a little (in dots) on the top of ur cheekbone..it should really highlight ur bone structure and if u like to apply lighter eyeshadow under ur brow bone try using this for a better and cooler look. hope ive helpt!
over foundation. you put it where you would like to highlight, cheekbones, under eyes. its a top layer item. i used to use it under my eyes and along my cheekbones.

What are the best Benefit cosmetics?

I want to buy 4 or 5 Benefit cosmetic products. What in your opinion are the products most worth the money? What are the best Benefit cosmetics?
I've used alot of BeneFit products!

Definately the Benetint. I agree with the above poster!!! Although, I went to the drugstore recently, and for half the price and a less drippy consistency, ';Just Bitten'; by revlon [the lip stain] in Cherry is just as good, if not better.

    Other BeneFit products i like:

    -Ooh La Lift

    -Sandal Scandal

    -Dandelion blush

and, of course, the Maybe Baby fragrance...smells wonderful.

the lip plumper is cool, but the thing is, it doesn't actually 'plump' like other brands. It just puts a layer of junk that fills in your lines on your mouth and makes it appear fuller.

Also, the 'Realness of Concealness' has a mini Boi-ing concealer, Lemon-Aide, a mirror and mini tubes of 'ooh la lift', [eye de-puffer] 'high beam' [highlighter], and 'lip plump'.

Just FYI... in case you want to try all of those without buying full size! What are the best Benefit cosmetics?
heazur, i was just curious, does revlon's just bitten go on your cheeks as well? Report Abuse

Yeah, I'm going with Benetint on this one as well! And the Realness of Concealness is a favourite of mine - as already stated, good, trial-sized products for you to try out. I also like High Beam - it lasts for ages and gives a lovely delicate glow to the cheekbones or wherever you use it. And I recommend Dr Feelgood also - it's lovely, with or without make-up on.

I haven't tried it personally, but I'm also hearing great things about some kind-a gorgeous.
The lip/cheek Benetint is the best blush I have ever used. I also like Badgal lash mascara, but be warned it is kinda ';wet'; and takes a long time to dry- once it does, tho, your eyelashes will look insanely long lol

And I have used eyecon, the eye mosturizer, but thats about all it was good for. It didnt really fix any of my circles or lines. Hope this helps!

ABSOLUTELY!! MK is a Pyramid company. The Top Dog gets a commission off of everyone in the down-line.

Let's say I'm in MK, and I get three 'consultants' under me. I get a kick back on all of their commissions. Then the three each get three under them. Wow, now I'm fat and happy because I get a kick from each of them as well!

Cucumber its credited with moisturebinding, moistureregulating,

    soothing,tightening,antiitching

refreshing, softing, healing and anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains amino acids and organic acids that are claimed to strengthen the skin's acid mantle. So that's why they use-it !

This is for the girls - what is your favourite benefit product and why?

i love their you rebel tinted moisture as its light and gives a nice complexion, much prefer it to foundation. This is for the girls - what is your favourite benefit product and why?
Woo Hoo!!! I LOVE Rebel! It's soooo cool! It suits any complexion and it looks so natural! It looks even better with a little bit of blush and powder on top (I find it a bit greasy, don't you?!)

Rebel gives that fresh glow and even complexion I cannot even begin to emphasise how much I love that stuff!

Okay, you probably think I'm a bit nuts going mad over a tinted moisturiser but I have tried so many and nothing beats that, I always recommend it!

You're mind kind of gal you are! This is for the girls - what is your favourite benefit product and why?
thanks Bad Gal (mascara!) ha! Report Abuse

Has to be benetint - gives my cheeks a lovely glow!! and it lasts ages.
High Brow, its amazing I also love you rebel tinted moisturizer its a must all their products are fab, dont you think?
good question i love d high beam shimmer stuff i put it everwear under my brows cheeks cheast if im going out its fabulous.i luv it cos it catches d light and its just oh so fantabulous
my fav. is the body-shop glitter gloss, it make you lips look like glass!
I love the MiEssence range, especially the Jaffa Lip Balm. All their beauty products are 100% third party certified Organic to food standards and have absolutely no synthetic chemicals or gmo's. So pure you can eat it! Everything smells divine and tastes divine and are 100% beneficial which means that all the ingredients actually nourish and protect your skin as well as making you look totally gorgeous. Because they don't heat any of their products, it's all cold formulation, so everything is alive in it and so it is like skin food! I used to have rosacea, when your face looks sore and inflamed, and i have been using their soothing skincare range and some balms and gels and my skin is totally calmed down in 4 days, it's unbelievable. I have done some research into the beauty industry and i found this book callled The chemical Maze, you look up an ingredient in a cosmetic or a food and it tells you what the effect is, and it is bloody frightening! The poisons that they are legally allowed to put in that cause cancer and birth defects ans well as athsma liver failure and everything other terrible disease and then we women put that in and on our bodies and faces, on average something like 3kg per year and they all accumulate and cause our cells to mutate and when we get sick the pharmaceutical companies make even more money on supressing the symtoms of our ills without actually curing us, it's a disgrace! Recent studies have shown that when you expose a human cell to radiation, ie; nuclear fallout the cell does one of two things it either mutates or dies and when you expose human cells to synthetic chemicals that we use everyday they do one of two things they mutate or die. With one difference: TIME If a bomb dropped today we would all pay for it today, however with synthetic toxic chemicals it is the accumulation that will kill us and the figures are staggering 1 in 3 people will die from cancer, i mean we see adverts on TV everyday from different disease charities with their statistics, but what they don't tell you is that the large pharmaceuticals are responsible for all the synthetic poisons that are causing our ills and making hundreds of billions of dollars from us! They have a financial interest in making us sick! and keeping us sick!

What is the purpose of removing removing & pushing back cuticles? is there any benefit to doing that?

i have very long nails, %26amp; i have never pushed back cuticles or removed them, i was just wondering why its doneWhat is the purpose of removing removing %26amp; pushing back cuticles? is there any benefit to doing that?
ok once again you dont remove cuticles...you simply push them back....why to help your nails grow(its like getting a perm or relaxer when you have new growth you need to get your hair touched up--because it has grown)well the same applies to your cuticles once your nails have grown its time to push the cuticles back so they continue to growWhat is the purpose of removing removing %26amp; pushing back cuticles? is there any benefit to doing that?
It is done to make your nail longer. I have long nails to, so it's not that required
Pushing them back is just to make them more tidy looking and so they won't get in the way when you apply nail polish. Also it seems to help nails grow a bit faster when you push them back. Removing the cuticles can be done with a set of special nail clippers or by melting them with a special treatment, it's so that you get off the untidy bits left over after pushing them back. I'll also make the nail seem a bit more slender.
It makes your nails breathe and makes them grow longer.
you're nails look gross if you don't do that...eww..you are so disgusting..
i dont know about fingernails, but as far as toenails go it can just become dead skin and possibly may cause ingrown nails if its not cleaned up.

Anyone know of any really prettily packaged beauty brands? I mean stuff like Benefit or Glamourflage?

Stila, Body and Soul, too faced and Anna Sui are gorgeous too! Anything else?Anyone know of any really prettily packaged beauty brands? I mean stuff like Benefit or Glamourflage?
Stila all the way. Although it might feel like a ';rip off'; at times, the packaging is very feminine and youthful but its like the same price as brands like Cargo and Benefit. I also really like Tarte because their mascara packaging looks too cute. It's a pity that you have to replace mascara like every 3 months..Anyone know of any really prettily packaged beauty brands? Does the ';high BROW'; pencil from benefit cosmetics really work?

I was reading a magazine and it had some makeup tips in it and I saw a pencil called ';High Brow'; by benefit cosmetics.

It claims that you put it under your brow and it gives your eyebrows great arches and gives emphasis your eyes.

Does it really work or am i just going to waste my money??

Thanks!!!! :)Does the ';high BROW'; pencil from benefit cosmetics really work?
Don't waste your money. It's just like a lighter than skin color crayon and if you line under your eyebrows you're going to need to smugde it or it's just going to look stupid. And usually, when you smudge it about it'll ruin your eyeshadow that you already have on. I suggest using a light colored eyeshadow. It gives the same effect that ';High Brow'; claims.Does the ';high BROW'; pencil from benefit cosmetics really work?
I use it and it does accent your arch but does nothing to lift. a pale shadow works just as well
  • hair straightener
  •
    skin infection
