When we are kids, or at least most kids, have really smooth skin. Then puberty happens and a lot of us get bad skin...what evolutionary benefit is there to bad skin?What is the evolutionary benefit of bad skin?
I believe it is for protection from the elements. Our skin often gets hard and leathery from exposure. It is therefore ';tougher'; and can more easily adapt to our surroundings.
